TAMIRA - Götz doll Beatrix Potter Collection

Tamira is one of my dolls belonging to the Beatrix Potter Collection. She was released in the year 2003. Tamira is wearing a striped summer-dress, fine tights, socks and sportive white shoes. Over her dress she wears a trench-coat with a pocket on one side. On the pocket we find the Beatrix Potter theme.

The theme is slightly different from the original. You can see the three rabbits Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-tail with the bowl for supper. It looks very simmilar to one of the drawings of the very famous story "The Tale of Peter Rabbit"

Maybe not everybody is fond of such old tales for children; it could be also interesting to study the biography of Beatrix Potter. I must admit, that I teach small children in English and love British nursery rhymes or stories for children.

Now - back to the doll Tamira.
Tamira is one of three girls with brown, straight hair. Her sisters are Lauretta and Becky.
Tamira is a delicate girl; her fine dress and trench-coat reminds me of a Sunday in spring.

Tamira with her sister Lauretta. Looking at Laurettas outfit, you see the different charisma of this doll. Her outfit - her dress, striped tights and orange bolero jacket make a completely other doll. And look at Laurettas shoes - they are earthy brown.
Whereas Tamira likes walking and watching the flowers Lauretta likes playing on the playground or in the sand.
